So I was like why not take it? So I was more feeling I was more experiencing than thinking and planning. Ganda you know that’s a very important lesson. You were supposed to run. You had to withdraw your uh candidacy for you to be able to join uh Miss Universe versus Philippines. Yes. Okay. Overthinking the the art is even s actors when you overthink uh contrive.

Yeah. study, research, rehearse, and then make because I’m making it look like the most natural and making it look like spontaneous is a whole challenge. Yeah, exactly. Anganda, I learned that from Atisa today. So, don’t overthink. Know what you’re doing, but the moment you’re on stage, let go. Yeah, exactly.

Like you’ve practiced for it so many times, you already know what to do. It’s muscle memory. So, at that time, you just got to experience it and like hear people shouting for you and like living in it. You’re going to get the Miss Universe crown. Okay. Uh what happened uh long gown competition.

What was the story? I I don’t want to go into the controversy, you know. I didn’t buy into I didn’t buy into that story. What What happened? Um my cuz there was there were stairs. Okay. And then when I I think the doula of the gang flipped and then got caught in my heel. Left caught in my heel. The left foot. No. There. Here.

Here. Here. Can we play it again? There. Watch it. Here. Okay. There. Angry. Bruce. I still have the bruise. Yeah, as a fan that would have been really bad. I saw I even bounced cuz I I rewatched the whole thing. Okay. I did a bounce. Except Oh, painful. But you recovered. Yeah. I I the moment I fell, I just wanted to get up.

I knew I didn’t want to be there for like I just wanted to get up as fast as I can. So, you have the Miriam Kambalo moment and you have the Atisa Manalo moment. But you won. You you you got the crown and uh Q&A. Uh were you happy with your answer? If you were to go back to your question, you were because I was speaking what’s in my heart. You know, you connected to your core and leadership by example and uh the impact that it uh had in your life. Everyone witnessed it.

They were there. Uhhuh. Yeah. Go ahead. Talk about it. So, what was playing in your mind? Um, I thought that when they asked what is that thing that I could show to everyone, I thought that they were all there to witness my fall and if it’s not enough that they saw me fall and stood up and still fought for what I wanted and like what what better answer could have I given that at least that’s what was going in my head.

Uh, you made it personal. Yeah. That it was your ode to your grandmother. because it is. And talking about support, I know that you didn’t have enough chance to thank everybody who supported me. Do it now. Go ahead. So, first, I wouldn’t be here without my friend Ali. She’s the person who initially supported me and said to me that I will support you all throughout.

Just say yes that you will do it. Whatever it is, I’ll do it for you. And then of course there’s my team um my core team Patty Albert Tisai Mickey Ren Bookoi um my AP so so many people that supported me all throughout the the reason Tito boy I got here in this position is because they were all working towards my dream they all gave me time resources for me to achieve my dream and like I can’t thank everyone enough my family, my friends, my team, my supporters.

Like, I felt the love and support. That’s why I’m here. I think it takes a lot of money to be able to join a contest cuz you have to take care of all of these things, gown, training. Uh, can you give me an idea more or less? Or Oh my god. You want to be able to join a contestion at least at least have a million. At least have a million.

Um I’m I’m lucky that my friends who surround me, my team, some of them they give me their their help without asking anything in return. Savings. Exactly. All right. So I’m very lucky in that sense. Yeah. I know. Cuz people might say that uh you know you just wear gowns and then you practice you you pay a lot of people.

You got to pay your hair, your makeup, your stylist. You got to have pas you got to have money for food. Okay. And if you’re not from Manila, you got to have money for your rent. You rented here. I live here now. Boyfriend. Are you single? Wait. Are you single? I’m single. Yeah. You are single. Okay. That’s nice to know cuz I was reading a lot of materials.

I saw some photos and I apologize to have asked you that. I assumed. Okay. Luma talaga. Looking forward. Looking forward. I don’t look for it. Yeah. But what is a crown if you don’t have a king? And do you have a game plan for 2025 for Miss U Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand? You know, Tito boy. After my coronation, we had like an afterparty with all the other candidates in the organization. Once I got home, I got home around 4:00 a.m. I couldn’t sleep until 7 a.m. because I was already thinking, what do I do in Thailand? Like, I was already thinking of a game plan and I was able to come up with a lot of things.

But I think more so my focus is my main focus is being fit because I’ve I’ve been sick for like 3 days before the finals and up until now, I haven’t gotten my voice back properly. and I wanted to give the Philippines a great fight, making sure that I’m 100% healthy because when you’re healthy in your physical body, your mind follows and your confidence in your gate.

So that’s that’s my main focus for Thailand. I totally I totally totally agreeing but again the the nice thing is when you told me kina earlier when you said after the training drop everything, forget everything, let go, perform. Yeah. and fight. And now you’re adding another component to that, another layer to that. Yes.

And I also I’m very hopeful because my interesting police why why that is that a fascination or I think it’s sort it’s a fascination. first because I’m surrounded by my family, soldiers, police officers, and then I think I like the spy movies growing up and I thought that being a police officer would be the same way as like being a spy like Charlie’s Angels.

And I tried applying for the Philippine National Police Academy after high school, but my family didn’t allow me. So, I had to stop that dream. And I understandably now that I’m older, it makes sense. It makes sense why I wasn’t allowed to go. Yeah. You are the sum total of your story. You know, raised by Lola and a single mother.

Have you forgiven your father? My biological father, I think there was no anger on my end, but it was more of an indifference. Because we don’t have a relationship. It’s hard to be angry at someone when you don’t know them. up until now. That’s that’s that’s how you feel. Um he reached out to me online for um a few times, but even then it feels like a distant person.

Like you don’t even know what you guys are up to. So it’s not really a relationship as I would call it. Yeah. Bitterness. Yeah. It’s it is what it is. You were raised by, you know, loving family. Loving family. Yes. And even your dad, I mean, your stepfather. Yes. How do you remember that uh stage in your life? I remember everything in my childhood boy.

I would sell  textmentary because I wanted to make money. I knew we didn’t have that. So I wanted to provide that for us and you know this is a request from our audience. the job they’re applying for because it’s a position of public trust. So, they got to be trusted. They got to know what they’re doing and they got to make sure that they actually have the capabilities and skills to do the job that they’re applying for.  Complete the sentence.
